Our baby Sansa,
This day last year you came to our lives and changed things, the good way. There were sleepness nights I thought would never end. I cried tears of desperation in trying to figure out your needs. But how come despite all the struggle I can't seem to get tired of you? In fact, I'm willing to labor over and over again, anytime of the day, if that means having you in our lives. Yes, this must be unconditional love! Just when I thought I'd be the one to teach you values, you taught me what patience and unconditional love are, in the purest sense.
Anak, you are so loved not only by mama and papa but by many people. Just like the meaning of your name Sansa, you are charming that way. We want to let you know that you need not do anything to please us to win our love and attention. We have given it to you prior your arrival in this world. Whatever you will become in the future is just an icing on the cake. Your life is enough. I pray that you grow up to be a happy person. The rest of what you need to be, I pray for God to help us in helping you become.
My love, thank you for the one year of love, warmth and joy you brought to mama and papa. You are the grandest gift we received from God. You are an answered prayer. You are worth every sacrifice we toiled. You brought out that part of us we didn't know exist. You will always be our baby and a holder of that spot in our hearts. Though we also can't deny that we are excited to see the person that you will be one day. But for now, allow mama and papa to cuddle you, tuck you in to sleep, hold you close, and shower you endless hugs and kisses.
