Maan | Maternity Session { General Santos City }

Our dearest Luna,

While I wrote this, there is still approximately 3 weeks until I see you according to the doctor. But that doesn’t mean that Daddy and Mommy are not excited, we can’t wait to finally see you and hold you in our arms, sweet pea!

We cannot wait to see how you would look like – will you have Daddy’s eyes or Mommy’s skin color? How you would be when you grow up – will you like football the same way we do or would you prefer gymnastics or arts, like any darling princess would like to do?

So many questions, so many anticipations. We don’t know what the future holds for you, lovely Luna. But one thing is sure – you are an answered prayer from God. You are a testament of His greatness and faithfulness that even flawed human beings like us, your mom and dad would be presented with the privilege to take care of God’s daughter in this world.

We love you, Luna Rocio Pilar!

More than our love for you, Luna, our prayer is that you will grow up to be a woman after God’s heart and that you will never forget that before Mommy and Daddy loved you, Someone Greater Up There had you in His mind and that His dreams and purposes for you, far outweigh what Daddy Jay and I could ever imagine for you, sweet pea.

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.  My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

Psalm 139-13-16
