Our Dearest Avi,
You were once just our dream. Papa and Mama can hardly believe that we can already touch you,carress you, cuddle you, and kiss you now.
You are our first baby. Our first son. Our first everything! We always talk about how we are going to walk you through in the future, but youhave already taught us a lot of our firsts.
Thank you for teaching us what and how it is to become parents; for teaching us to show unconditional love. Because of you, we became selfless. Yes, it is difficult, but more than that, it’s all worth it. You’re all worth it.
We pray that you grow to be a Godly man; strong enough to defeat frailties; brave enough to face challenges, because when you grow up, we won’t always be there to protect you.
We know that the world is cruel, yet we pray that it’ll be less cruel to you than it can be. Please know that Papa and Mama love you so much and nothing can take that love away from you. But remember this son, Jesus loves you more, so we pray that you’ll grow to know Him, to love Him back and to glorify His name. May God’s favor be always upon you.
