Rookie Jael | Newborn Session { General Santos City }

There’s no such joy than seeing and holding your first born for the first time.  That’s also true with photography , it is more than an experience to document a family’s significant milestones including maternity and newborn sessions.

We were so excited when we learned that Jai and Roy were interested in getting us for a maternity session during Jai’s third trimester. It was a heads up upon learning that they opted for something raw , dramatic and creative; a Black and White themed session.  This time for their baby's first photo session, we considered incorporating the things that they love doing. One of those is skateboarding. Hence, the highlight of the session. 

A month after her maternity session, Jai delivered their first born through natural birth,a bouncing baby boy named Rookie Jael. Jai bravely endured a 12-hour excruciating pain from labour and delivery. And they couldn’t just fathom the feeling when they finally saw and heard Jael cry for the first time. For Jai, the effort has been paid off. Jael brought so much purpose and meaning in their lives. Quoting Jai verbatimly, “ Jael was made and delivered with 100% love”. 

We can’t wait to share these portraits.  And we hope you will enjoy the before and after photos we created.  With so much love in our hearts, we present you Jai, Roy and Jael’s beautiful story. 

I find the whole shooting experience fascinating. It was as if they were photographing our story frame by frame as they genuinely and enthusiastically capture our baby’s portraits.  —Jai & Roy
